For this Form of content i decided to discuss the famous I love NY logo, created by Milton Glaser. The logo as you can see consist of a capital I, a red heart that stands for love, a capital N standing for New and a capital Y short for York. Being that this design is so popular I intend to explain to you why this is a successful composition in this brief form of content.
The I love New York image is such a successful design for many reasons. One of the reasons that plays a big part in its likability is the fact that this image appeals to your logical and visual senses. The Simple Reading of this design helps draw the viewer in the the composition initially because you first identify that the image is saying something. The next strong point of the design that helps in the success of this design is the red heart that acts as a focal point in this image. The brightness of the red heart in a basically black and white image acts as a attention grader that brings you end to then later read the image. Last I feel like the positioning of the read heart and other 3 letters help keep your eye on the page.
